Artistically painted by hand, this circular fusion jewellery necklace is one to behold! Portraying two dandiya dancers during Navratri against a foreground of a bright pink lotus flower, it captures modern art techniques well alongside traditional values. The white and red beads adorning the hem and string make this necklace wholesome while the bead earrings add an extra touch of quirk!
Creator Name: Radha Gupta
With the help of her daughter, Radha Gupta found a way to spend her time at home indulging in the art that was somewhere always present in her soul. From a sheltered city of Uttar Pradesh, Shahjahanpur Radha moved from place to place because of her children’s studies. In doing so she met new people, explored different cultures and traditions and met new people, which brought a broader perspective to her. Even though she had always been artistic with sewing and knitting she felt that staying at home all the time makes your life dull but exploring new places puts colors into it. Therefore, Radha became interested in the art forms of various places she had visited but she never freely created art until her daughter told her about Khoj and our work. Now living in Delhi, Radha creates Fusion Hand-painted Jewellery. Thanks to her chance exploration and wider perspective, she took creative liberty to come up with something which appeals to all generations!
