EVENTS WITH KHOJ: Christmas By Harleen Kaur

“it’s the season to be jolly!” With the arrival of the chilly winter days, it’s time for the holiday season!

Christmas is celebrated after the pagan Winter Solstice to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The word 'Christmas' comes from the Mass of Christ. A Mass service is where Christians remember that Son of God died for us and then came back to life as Jesus, Mary’s Son.

FUN FACT: The 'Christ-Mass' service was the only one that was allowed to take place after sunset and therefore people had it at Midnight!

This Christmas, our lovely team of Khojees exchanged artsy gifts via the fun event of Secret Santa followed by a singing of Christmas Carols together and sharing plum cakes for desert. Indeed, Christmas is a celebration that brings people together and promotes happiness and joy! Similarly, this Christmas, you can spread joy, art and cheer with Khoj’s Gifting Corner! With an array of new, handcrafted, gifting-worthy products from Khoj and its creators, available in various interesting combinations, re-explore gifting and make it fun with Khoj!
