Livi
Hailing from the hills of the North East, Livi leads a calm life close to nature. As a young girl, she would watch her mother knit after she had finished cooking, the various complicated knots would confuse her. Present-day reality, Livi finds the most happiness in creating Macrame art, “It isn’t so confusing anymore,” Livi jokes. Over the years, she has perfected her skills and her work reflects it well, every hitch and knot are clean, which gives the products a wholesome look. While she started experimenting with the mounting chords so that she could make utility items for her home, she soon realized that those around her appreciated and wanted her to make items for them. Thus, began Livi’s journey with the art of Macrame, “I feel calm and relaxed when I start knotting, it’s almost recreational”.
